Rick’s career is one of legend in the watch industry. He has been an integral part of Hublot’s success story and he is credited with forging the brand’s successful commercial partnerships with the likes of soccer legends Pele and Maradona, boxer Floyd Mayweather and Depeche Mode.
Used to travelling the world and rubbing shoulders with some of the biggest names in the business, Rick has spent the last year of lockdown in Switzerland enjoying a much slower pace of life but also using the time wisely to connect, communicate and innovate. Rick founded Bomberg in 2012 with a vision of breaking out of the constraints haute horology to create timepieces that defy aesthetics. Here he shares more on the brand story, how he has taken Bomberg online during this time and why the brand is so focused on connecting authentically with the digitally savvy consumer.
